Irfan Pathan, IPL 2025: Fans believe that Pathan has been dropped from IPL commentary due to personal rivalry but on the other hand Irfan has also opened his new YouTube channel.

Irfan Pathan IPL commentary:  Irfan Pathan is not doing commentary in IPL 2025. Which is raising some questions. Fans believe that Pathan has been dropped from IPL commentary due to personal animosity, while, according to a report in Times of India (TOI), Irfan has been dropped from the panel because the broadcasters were not happy with him keeping personal animosity on-air and even on his social media handles. " The report quoted a BCCI source as saying, "Pathan had a fight with some players a few years ago. Since then, he was not shying away from commenting on them in an aggressive manner.. The issue was raised that other junior players also got caught in the controversy. He is also accused of targeting players on social media platforms, even though he did not name them."

Let us tell you that after being dropped from the IPL 2025 commentary panel, Irfan Pathan launched his YouTube channel "Sidhi Baat with Irfan Pathan" on March 22, he will provide in-depth analysis of the game on it. However, Irfan is not the first high-profile player to be removed from commentary.

In 2020, former India batsman Sanjay Manjrekar was removed from the commentary panel for India's ODI series against South Africa by the BCCI for his controversial 'bits and pieces' comment on Ravindra Jadeja during the 2019 ODI World Cup. Now a new case has come up regarding Irfan Pathan.
