With just seven days left to pay property tax, the Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) has urged property owners to clear their dues immediately.

On March 24, PMC achieved a record single-day collection of ₹5 crore. The last date for payment is March 31, and PMC offices will remain open on Saturdays and Sundays to facilitate taxpayers.

An official stated, “The Bombay High Court has not granted any stay on property tax imposition in PMC’s jurisdiction. Owners must pay by March 31 to avoid a 2% penalty next financial year.”

Citizens have responded positively, with daily collections averaging ₹3-4 crore over the past 15-20 days. The March 24 record of ₹5 crore reflects this momentum.
