Exam Schedule Conflict

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam will take place from April 2 to April 9. This has led to a scheduling issue as the CBSE Class 12 board exams are also set for April 2, 3, and 4, raising concerns for students who need to take both assessments.

Exam Dates Overview Conflicting Exam Dates
  • JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 (BE/BTech) is scheduled for April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8.

  • JEE Main 2025 Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) will occur on April 9.

  • CBSE Class 12 Exams:

    • April 2 – Malayalam

    • April 3 – Home Science

    • April 4 – Psychology

Potential Changes to Exam Dates Will JEE Main Dates Be Adjusted?
  • Numerous students have expressed their concerns and have reached out to NTA via email and social media, urging for a revision of the exam schedule.

  • As of now, NTA has not released any official communication regarding potential changes to the exam dates.

  • Students are encouraged to frequently check the official NTA website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) for the latest updates.

Advice for Students Facing Conflicts What Should Students Do?
  • If your board exam coincides with the JEE Main, notify NTA through their official grievance channels.

  • Prepare your exam strategy accordingly, as JEE Main is conducted in multiple shifts, and you might be assigned a slot that does not conflict.

While awaiting an official response from NTA, students should remain informed through official notifications and continue their preparations.
