Senior officials, including Parmit Garg, Director (Business Development), DMRC; Ashish Sharma, Additional Member (Mechanical Engineering); SK Pankaj, Additional Member (Production Units); and BM Agrawal, Member (Traction & Rolling Stock), attended the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding.

AWPMS: What is it?

Real-time evaluation of wheel geometry and wear is ensured by the sophisticated AWPMS system, which enables autonomous, non-contact measuring of train wheel profiles.

AWPMS offers quick and precise measurements.

The technology uses high-speed cameras and laser scanners to offer quick and precise measurements without the need for human interaction. Automated notifications will guarantee prompt remedial action in the event of deviations, improving operational effectiveness and safety.

Four AWPMS units for Indian Railways will be purchased, supplied, installed, and commissioned by DMRC as part of this agreement.

An important turning point in the upgrading of railway maintenance procedures is this partnership. Indian Railways is boosting rolling stock management, cutting down on maintenance time, and increasing overall service efficiency by using state-of-the-art technology.

Additionally, the cooperation fosters talent development and technology sharing between DMRC and Indian Railways, strengthening their dedication to operational excellence, safety, and innovation.

DMRC introduces the Saarthi 2.0 app.

Another product that tackles the issues of first and last mile connection is the Momentum Delhi Saarthi 2.0 app, which was released by the DMRC.

The software removes the need for numerous reservations by enabling users to simply book auto rickshaws, bike taxis, and metro tickets all on one platform.
