The public is very interested in the ambitious Anant Nagar Housing Scheme on Mohan Road, which is being developed by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA). The program had a great response in only three days after registration opened; by Sunday at 6 PM, 9,601 users had registered on the official registration webpage.

Of these, 148 people completed the registration process by paying 5% of the anticipated plot cost, while 3,095 applications paid Rs 1,100 online for the registration booklet.

The 785-acre project, which was unveiled by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday, intends to provide accommodation for almost 1.5 lakh people. Along with more than 10,000 apartments spread over 60 group housing plots, it consists of 2,100 residential and 120 commercial sites.

Around 25,000 individuals will also be able to live in more than 5,000 buildings that fall under the EWS and LIG categories. The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will also see the construction of residential units.

International urban planning principles are being followed in the grid pattern of Anant Nagar’s development. The community will include broad roadways and subterranean cables to provide a steady supply of electricity. Edutech City will be built on a 100-acre plot of land and will house around 10,000 instructors, staff, and students in residential apartments and dorms.

With the goal of providing an environmentally friendly living space, the municipality will include 130 acres of parks and green spaces. It would be the first housing project in Lucknow to have a zero liquid discharge policy and a contemporary solid waste management system. Wastewater will be recycled by a specialized STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) for green space upkeep and irrigation.

Ample EV charging stations will be placed to encourage sustainable mobility, and solar energy systems will be erected in each block to provide the public’s electrical requirements.
