The National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) has announced time-bound sections for the National Eligibility Entrance Test – Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2025 exam. Earlier also the testing agency has introduced such time-bound sections. More information related to its pattern has been given by the agency in the official notification. Time-bound has been introduced in all NBEMS MCQ-based exams like NEET-PG, NEET-MDS, NEET-SS, FMGE, DNB-PDCET, GPAT, DPEE, FDST, and FET.
The notification of NBEMS states that this decision has been taken to maintain the security and integrity of these exams. This will prevent the dangers during the exam.
How will be the format of the question paper?
This time the question of NEET MDS will be in two sections which will include Part A and Part B. According to the notification of NEET MDS, Part A section will have 100 questions while Part B will have 140 questions. Students will have to complete Part A in 75 minutes after which they will go to Part B. Students will be given 105 minutes to complete Part B. Students will not be able to move to the next section without the time being over.
This means that even if someone solves Part A before the stipulated time, that candidate will have to wait for the completion of 75 minutes, only then he will be able to move to Section B. After the time is over, candidates will not be able to make any changes in the questions of the first section.
