Actress Renu Desai recently voiced her frustration over the media’s continued fixation on her personal life, particularly her relationship status, following her appearance on a podcast where she discussed having a second partner after her divorce from Pawan Kalyan . She took to her Instagram stories to express disappointment over the selective attention given to her comments about a possible second marriage , rather than the broader themes she explored.

Renu called out the media for prioritising sensationalism. “I realised that media people are more interested in my second marriage topic than all the important topics (religion, relationships, social media influences, etc.) that I spoke about in my recent podcast for over an hour… which shows and proves again what we, as an audience, are giving priority to…” she noted.
