season three continues with fans eager to know who the guest stars are in episode four.

's spin-off is well underway with its third season as DI Humphrey Goodman (played by Kris Marshall) is at the epicentre of yet another head-scratching investigation.

This time around though, his fiance Martha Lloyd (Sally Bretton) comes under scrutiny when it's realised that a sailor's smoothie has been tampered with ahead of a major contest.

On the last day of the regatta, finalist Polly finds herself competing for the top spot but "disaster strikes" when she collapses and plunges into the sea, "throwing the entire race into chaos".

Polly is to be portrayed by actress Madeleine Daly although little is so far known about the star beyond her stint in Beyond Paradise.

Taking on the role of Polly's "overbearing father" Hugo, who is desperate for his daughter to take home the trophy, is actor Jason Hughes.

He is famed for playing Warren Jones in the 1990s drama This Life but is probably better recognised as DS Ben Jones in ITV's Midsomer Murders.

Over the past few years, Hughes has been in Three Girls, Marcella, The Pact and McDonald And Dodds.

Fellow dad Nathan is among the suspects as he is also eager to see his daughter win the competition but at what cost?

Nathan is brought to life by actor Silas Carson who has had roles in shows including Doctor Who, The Gold, Unforgotten, Holby City and most recently as Jonathan Boardman in BBC's Virdee.

Polly's biggest rival is sailor Francine, Nathan's daughter so it's no wonder everyone will be looking at her for questions when her competitor has a horrific experience midway through the final.

Actress Laura Eule Rolle is reasonably new to the entertainment industry with just a few credits under her belt so far, including The Diplomat and Woman Of The Dead.

After Martha turned down his advances in the first season, Archie Hughes stayed clear of the second outing but has been returning on a more frequent basis as of late.

Actor Jamie Bamber has portrayed Col Alexander Coltrane in Strike Back, DCI Tim Williamson in Marcella, DS Matt Devlin in Law And Order: UK and Lee "Apollo" Adama in Battlestar Galactica.

Another recurring character to be cropping up in episode four is Nurse Lucy, the girlfriend of Josh Woods (Chris Jenks) who is expected to show up when Polly has her troubles at sea.

Actress Eva Feiler has had parts in Urban Legends, Father Brown, The Crown and We Were The Lucky Ones.
