A few days ago an FIR was lodged in Jalandhar after opposition from the Christian community in Punjab against Bollywood actor Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda's film 'Jat' released in theaters, after which the film's makers have now announced that they have removed the controversial scenes from it. Let us tell you that a case has been registered against Bollywood actor Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar, film Jat director Gopi Chand and producer Naveen Malineni at Sadar police station in Jalandhar. Sections have been imposed in the case to hurt religious sentiments.
Seeing the controversy growing, the film's makers announced the removal of the disputed scene and now that scene has been removed. After which it is expected that the anger of the Christian community regarding this film will calm down and they will withdraw their protest. Recently, the leaders of the Christian community lodged a complaint with the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police.
The complaint was lodged by the Christian community leader Goldie. In which he said- A film Jat was released in theaters a few days ago. In that film, actor Randeep Hooda insulted Jesus Christ and the holy things used in our religion. Inside Randeep Hooda Church stood like Lord Jesus Christ and our words 'Amen' were disrespectful.
Goldie further said that it has also been said in the film that your lord Jesus Christ is sleeping and he has sent me. After which Hooda starts firing at all. In such a situation, anti-Christians will attack our churches by watching such films. Seeing this, there is anger between the Christian community living in India and abroad.
Seeing the matter catching up, the filmmakers have removed the controversial scenes from the film. Meanwhile, Jalandhar Commissionerate Police Joint Commissioner Sandeep Sharma said that all the artists named in the case will be called to join the investigation soon. In this regard, first notice will be issued to them.
