Mumbai: Actor Anshuman Pushkar will be seen sharing screen space with actor Rajkumar Rao in the upcoming film ‘Malik’. Anshuman described Rajkumar as his favorite actor and said that he is like ‘Bhai’ and the experience of working with him was fantastic.

In a conversation with the news agency IANS, Anshuman said, “Raj is one of my favorite actors whose work I have seen very closely. Working with him has been very exciting and educational for me. He is like a mentor and good friend on the set, who makes his co-actors easy.”

Describing Rajkumar as the ‘trusted’ star of the industry, Anshuman said, “He is not only a great actor, but his way of working and dedication is fantastic. His way of dissolving with co-actors is a comfortable and praising.”

It was a memorable experience for Anshuman Pushkar to work with Rajkumar Rao. Anshuman also shared a special incident to the set, which had a profound impact on him. He said, “I was very confused during a scene. That scene was a bit difficult, but Raj not only played his character with full diligence, but later explained to me. After that I acted exactly as it was for that scene.”

He also stated that he and Rajkumar often discussed the process of acting on the set. Anshuman said, “Actor like Raj Bhai has amazing control over his art. The conversation with him inspired me to go as an actor and deepened. This could make me better and I will always be grateful to him for this.”

Actress Manushi Chillar will be seen working for the first time in the film ‘Malik’, directed by Pulkit. The film also stars Rajkummar Rao, Manushi Chillar, Anshuman Pushkar along with Prosonjit Chatterjee, Medha Shankar, Huma Qureshi and Swanand Kirkire in important roles. The film will be released in theaters on July 11, made under the banner of Kumar Taurani’s Tips Films and Jai Shevakaramani’s Northern Lights Films.
