The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the opening of applications for various coaching and performance-related roles at its Centre of Excellence (CoE) located in Bengaluru. This initiative is part of BCCI's commitment to enhance India's high-performance framework, focusing on skill development, coaching excellence, and performance analytics.
A total of 10 coaching positions are currently available for interested candidates.
Two batting coach roles are open. These coaches will assist the Head Cricket Coach and the BCCI CoE in preparing, developing, and improving the performance of batters at all levels, including senior national teams, India A, age-group teams, and state association players. Responsibilities include delivering specialized batting programs, tracking performance goals, and collaborating with national coaches, selectors, and sports science teams to nurture batting talent in India.
Three positions are available for fast bowling coaches. These coaches will focus on the technical, tactical, and physical development of fast bowlers training at the BCCI CoE. They will work closely with the Head Cricket Coach and national coaching staff, concentrating on specialized fast-bowling programs, managing workloads, identifying talent, and monitoring performance across senior, developmental, and age-group teams.
There are four openings for fielding coaches, including three male and one female. These coaches will be instrumental in improving the athleticism, agility, catching, throwing, and overall fielding skills of players participating in programs at the BCCI CoE. Their duties will involve implementing specialized fielding programs, establishing performance benchmarks, and working closely with coaches, sports science experts, and selectors to enhance fielding standards across various teams and age groups.
One position is available for a performance analyst. This individual will oversee the collection, management, and analysis of cricket performance data, which includes match analytics, training data, sports science contributions, and technology-driven insights. The performance analyst will collaborate with coaching, sports science, medical, and strength and conditioning teams to support strategic decision-making aimed at enhancing player performance and guiding long-term development pathways at the BCCI CoE.
The deadline for submitting applications is February 27, 2026, by 5 PM IST. All roles are based at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. Following the application review and shortlisting process, candidates may be invited for personal interviews or additional evaluations as determined by the BCCI.
