Filmy-style robbery busted in Delhi

Within just 24 hours, the police have solved the sensational robbery of ₹10 lakh in the Laxmi Nagar area of Delhi, the national capital. The truth they uncovered in this case is shocking. This horrific robbery was not orchestrated by any outside criminal, but by the complainant's own son and two of his friends. The police have arrested all three accused, including the main accused's son, and recovered the stolen money and the scooter used in the crime.

According to Delhi Police, on March 31, 2026, a PCR call was received informing them that two unidentified masked assailants had fired shots and looted ₹10 lakh in the Laxmi Nagar area and fled the scene. Following this incident, which occurred in broad daylight, a case was registered at the Laxmi Nagar police station under relevant sections of the BNS. Given the seriousness of the case, a special police team was formed.

Scanned more than 200 CCTVs, and then the secret was revealed

The police team examined footage from over 200 CCTV cameras in and around the crime scene. Through technical surveillance and informants, the police discovered that the mastermind behind the crime was none other than the complainant's son, Tavleen alias Rehat. Acting swiftly, the police arrested him in the Mukherjee Nagar area while he was trying to flee.

Partners caught from Lucknow toll plaza

Interrogation of the main accused, Tavleen, revealed that after the incident, two of her accomplices, Mohit Kumar Tiwari and Pankaj, boarded a private bus from Anand Vihar and fled towards Bihar. A Delhi Police team then pursued the bus, intercepting it near the Lucknow toll plaza, and apprehended the two accused.

Weapons purchased from Munger

Police investigations have revealed that the three accused wanted to become rich quickly and live a life of luxury. To avoid suspicion, the three accused were already living at the main accused's (son's) house and planned the entire incident there. Pankaj had masterminded the plan. At the time of the incident, the son, Tavleen, was driving a white Activa scooter, while Mohit, sitting behind the wheel, fired. Mohit Kumar Tiwari had purchased a pistol for approximately 45,000 rupees from Munger, Bihar.

The police have recovered the looted money and the scooter. However, the pistol used in the crime is still pending recovery. Police are also investigating which supplier in Munger the weapon was purchased from.
