I'm a Celebrity All Stars is set to return with its second series in a matter of days and boasts a stellar celebrity line-up. The hit ITV reality show will see the return of Beverley Callard, Olympian Mo Farah, and King and Queen of the Jungle, Harry Redknapp and Scarlett Moffatt. There will also be stars seeking redemption, such as Adam Thomas, Gemma Collard, Craig Charles and Jimmy Bullard.

But as excitement builds for the ITV launch, TV sources have revealed that things aren't going quite as smoothly behind the scenes. With the countdown looming, let's take a look inside Adam and Jimmy's unexpected feud that threatened to derail the upcoming final.

The reality show, fronted by long-standing hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, wrapped up filming the latest series in South Africa last November, which certainly whetted the appetite of excited fans.

But it appeared as though troubles quickly boiled over following explosive reports that the Emmerdale star, 37, and the Soccer AM host, 47, had a huge spat after a gruelling Bushtucker Trial.

A TV insider revealed to The Sun at the time: "Adam totally lost it. He started screaming at Jimmy, calling him a c*** an every other name under the sun. It was completely unexpected and deeply shocked the other campmates, including Jimmy, who didn't see it coming."

They added that the Waterloo Road star is "intensely competitive" and took his return to the jungle "very seriously". They went on: "He was frustrated by what happened in the Bushtucker Trial and lost his temper," with reports claiming the trial was so tough that one of the famous faces shouted the show's catchphrase.

It is understood that producers were scrambling to convince the pair to reunite for the final, but sources claimed they "can't stomach being on stage together in front of an audience." One insider concluded: "Adam and Jimmy weren't able to mend their friendship in South Africa after the massive row broke out."

All Stars last aired in 2023 when singer Myleene Klass won, and it was filmed in South Africa's Kruger National Park. Adam appeared in the 2016 series and finished third behind Joel Dommet and the ultimate victor, Scarlet. Meanwhile, Jimmy starred in the 2014 series, where he was the first campmate to be voted off.

Despite his early exit, he was known for his commitment to the horrifying challenges and was fondly known as 'Mr Bushtucker Trial', saying at the time that he would be "on my knees crying" after a task. Four months on, and it seems as though things aren't much better ahead of the show's return, as the Sun revealed that the pair still aren't on speaking terms after the high-stakes challenge.

Speaking at the launch event last month, Adam told the outlet: "It was completely different compared to the last series that I did - it was much tougher. Although I did quite a lot of trials in the first series, these were so much bigger and harder than ever before.

"So it was tough, there's no denying that. And I feel like I had my moments in there, like we all did. But I'm glad that I did it." Fans will have to stay tuned to watch the drama unfold on screen later this month. I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! All Stars launches on April 6th from 9pm on ITV1 or catch up on ITVX.
