The main basis of this conference is Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, which was passed in 2023. Under this law, there is a provision to give 33% reservation to women in Lok Sabha and Assembly. Now the government wants to speed up its implementation.

This conference is considered very important before the Parliament session starting from April 16. It is believed that from here a new strategy will be prepared to implement women’s reservation. The government wants that the role of women should not be just supportive but decisive.
