The National Testing Agency has officially announced the cancellation of the NEET UG 2026 examination that was conducted on May 3. The decision was revealed through an official statement issued by the agency following days of mounting controversy, online protests and investigations into alleged irregularities linked to the national medical entrance examination.

What NTA Said About NEET UG 2026 Cancellation
NTA stated:- NEET UG 2026 conducted on May 3 stands cancelled
- A re-examination will now be conducted on fresh dates
- New admit cards will be issued
- Existing registrations will remain valid
- Students will not have to register again
- No additional exam fee will be charged
- Fees already paid by candidates will be refunded
Fresh NEET UG 2026 Exam Dates Expected Soon
The agency further said that the revised examination schedule and details regarding fresh admit cards will be released through NTA’s official communication channels in the coming days.
