Lucknow, May 13: The Chief Medical Officer at the Lucknow civil hospital has assembled a four-member medical team to carry out the post-mortem of Prateek Yadav, the son of the late Mulayam Singh Yadav, founder of the Samajwadi Party, and husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav. The autopsy is scheduled to commence around 10 a.m.

This team is tasked with determining the cause of death, which is anticipated to take approximately thirty minutes.

Moreover, a panel from King George Medical University (KGMU) will also conduct a post-mortem to further investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.

KGMU has designated a two-member team of specialists, Dr. Mausami and Dr. Shivli, to address any questions or concerns that may arise during the examination process.

Prateek Yadav, aged 38, passed away in Lucknow on Wednesday and was pronounced 'brought dead' at the civil hospital.

Initial assessments indicated no visible injuries on his body.

Family members reportedly brought Yadav to the civil hospital around 6:15 a.m., where he was declared deceased. Aparna Yadav was not present at that time.

He had been suffering from lung issues for an extended period and was undergoing treatment for a blood clot in his lungs. His condition deteriorated in the morning, leading his family to rush him to the hospital.

Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed profound sorrow over Prateek Yadav's unexpected passing.
