Patna. The Education Department of Bihar Government has launched a big relief and incentive scheme for inter pass students. Under the Chief Minister Boys-Girls Incentive Scheme 2026, financial assistance will be given to eligible students, so that they can continue their further studies without any financial hindrance.

The online application process for this scheme has been started from 25 May 2026. The main objective of this scheme is to encourage the bright and needy students of the state to pursue higher education, so that they can become self-reliant and give a better direction to their future. The government has clarified that the benefit of this scheme will be available only to those students who have been successful in the board examination of the year 2026.

Inter pass girl students will get benefit up to Rs 15 thousand

Under the scheme, big relief will be given to the girl students of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category who pass the intermediate examination. An incentive amount of Rs 15,000 will be provided for passing first division and Rs 10,000 for passing second division.

Online application process started

To avail the benefits of this scheme, students can apply online by visiting the official portal of Education Department www.medhasoft.bihar.gov.in. The application process has been kept completely digital so that transparency is maintained and all eligible students can get benefits on time.

Information required for login

To login to the portal, students have to enter their registration number along with date of birth or total marks obtained in the examination. After this they can login to their account and complete the further process.

It is mandatory to fill bank details

While applying, students will also have to provide information to their bank account, which includes account number, bank branch name and IFSC code. Along with this, it will also be necessary to fill the Aadhaar number correctly.
