Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the new sensation of Indian cricket and famously known as ‘Baby Boss’, a 15-year-old young batsman, has become the talk of the entire cricket world. Now big maestros of the world are reciting ballads in praise of this player who came from a small village in Bihar and hit the sixes of the world’s great bowlers on the stage of IPL (IPL 2026). In this series, former Australian cricketer and head coach of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) Justin Langer has made such a revelation about Vaibhav Suryavanshi, which has created a stir on social media. Saluting the young player’s talent, Langer requested a selfie with him and said that this was only the second time in his entire life that he had requested a photo from a player himself. Justin Langer wrote an emotional post on LinkedIn. After the exciting match between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Justin Langer was impressed by the batting of Vaibhav Suryavanshi and took a memorable selfie with him. After this he shared a very special post on LinkedIn and wrote: Justin Langer wrote: "Last week I did something that I have done only for the second time in my entire life. I asked another player to take a selfie with me. A few years ago, I first made such a request to my childhood hero Stephen Michael of the Australian Football League (AFL)."
15 year old boy beaten in every corner of the field: Langer Langer further wrote, "And now for the second time I said this to a 15 year old boy from a village in Bihar. Vaibhav Suryavanshi thrashed my team Lucknow Super Giants mercilessly in every corner of the field. He is the youngest centurion in the history of men’s T20 cricket. He is only 15 years old!"
Chris Gayle’s 14 year old ‘maha-record’ demolished. When Justin Langer wrote this post, Vaibhav Suryavanshi had 53 sixes in his name this season. But immediately after that, in the eliminator match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Vaibhav did what no one could do till date in the history of T20 cricket: Wreaked havoc in the eliminator: In the knockout match against Hyderabad, Vaibhav hit 12 sky-high sixes during his stormy batting. Chris Gayle’s record broken: After this match, a total of 65 sixes have been registered in the name of Vaibhav Suryavanshi in this only season of IPL 2026. Became number-1: He has completely destroyed the 14 year old historical record of ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle (Chris Gayle had hit 59 sixes in IPL 2012). Now Vaibhav has become the batsman in the world to hit the most number of sixes in any single T20 tournament or IPL season. Seeing this post of Justin Langer, the youngest centurion of T20 cricket, and Vaibhav’s recent performance, cricket experts believe that this 15-year-old boy has the full potential to rule world cricket in the future. For Langer, this photo is not just a selfie, but a priceless memory of the early days of one of the greatest players of the future.
