New Delhi: Gujarat Titans star batsman Jos Buttler spoke to the broadcaster before the final. Butler has been in great form for GT this season and has scored 507 runs. The title match against RCB is to be held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which is the home ground of GT.

RCB’s craze visible in the stadium

Butler said it doesn’t feel like a home game at all. The stadium with a capacity of one lakh is almost completely filled with red and gold colours. The number of RCB fans on the field is very high. Looking at the atmosphere, it doesn’t seem as if GT is playing at home.

Will you get home ground advantage?

Butler agreed that this is a familiar place to us. We have played a lot of cricket here and know the nature of the pitch very well. We know what to expect from the conditions. But in terms of crowd support, it definitely won’t be a home crowd. Most of the spectators are supporting the opposition team.

Butler’s advice to young players

Butler said that most players growing up in India are used to a noisy and pressurized environment. This gives them courage to face such big matches. This match is a little different because it is a final. But our focus should be only on those things which are under our control. We have to play the same cricket as we have played the whole season.

He further said that accept this opportunity and enjoy it. This is the stage we all dream of. Let those feelings be felt. But when you come on the field, concentrate completely on cricket only.

called pressure good luck

According to Butler, it is a privilege to be a part of big matches, play in front of a crowd of lakhs and fight for the trophy. These are the moments every cricketer dreams of. Therefore one should face pressure boldly. We have to accept that there will be pressure. In such a situation, one should enjoy the challenge of performing well even under pressure. This is the place where every player wants to reach.
