The Indian Women's team is playing a must-win match against Australia at the Lord's Cricket Ground in the ongoing 2026 ICC Women's T20 World Cup on June 26, when the crowd suddenly got wild spotting Virat Kohli in the stands.

India had a modest start against the Aussies before getting a good pace at the end, thanks to captain Harmapreet Kaur and Richa Ghosh. And then suddenly, after Harman got her half century, the camera panned to the stands. Kohli was seen watching the match along with his wife Anushka Sharma and former Indian coach Ravi Shastri. And as soon as the camera focused on them, the crowd cheered them loudly. Kohli and Sharma were literally smiling at the amount of craze from the visitors.

Notably, Virat Kohli was here in India a few days back to report to the BCCI Centre of Excellence, Bengaluru, for getting his fitness clearance. He was going through a hamstring injury, due to which he had been out of competitive cricket since the 2026 IPL final. His comeback will be against England as India will play a three-match ODI series starting from July 14.
