The court further said, 'The petitioners are in a live-in relationship and are not legally married, yet a live-in relationship of adults living together with mutual consent is like marriage. The court said that the petitioners have decided to live in a live-in relationship with each other with their own free will, mutual consent and full responsibility, so no one, be it parents, relatives or friends, has the right to create any kind of hindrance or interfere and certainly not to put their life or freedom in danger.
