A horrific road accident took place today i.e. Saturday morning in the Saurikh police station area of ​​Kannauj district in Uttar Pradesh, where a speeding roadways bus hit a motorcycle near the Mirzapur bridge under the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. Two petrol pump workers riding a bike died in this accident.

Were returning home after duty, bus stopped on the way.

According to information received from sources, Pawan Shakya and Roop Singh, working at a petrol pump in Etawah district, were returning home by bike after finishing their duty on Saturday morning. As soon as his bike reached near Mirzapur bridge in Saurikh area, an uncontrolled roadways bus coming from the front hit him. The collision was so severe that Pawan Shakya died on the spot while Roop Singh was taken in a very critical condition to the Community Health Center Saurikh with the help of local people and police, where doctors declared him dead during first aid.

Driver absconds leaving the bus, police engaged in investigation

There was an uproar at the spot after this tragic accident. Taking advantage of this, the driver and conductor of the roadways bus ran away leaving the vehicle on the spot. As soon as information about this was received, Saurikh police station reached the spot with police force and sent both the bodies for post-mortem. The police have taken possession of the bus and have started searching for the absconding driver. After this accident, there is mourning among the families of the deceased.
