Ludhiana- Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is conducting a special cleanliness drive in the entire state under 'Mission Clean Punjab'. In this series, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian started the cleanliness campaign in Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar, Ludhiana. The main objective of this campaign is to make the city clean as well as to make people aware about cleanliness.



On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian along with officials of Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, Aam Aadmi Party volunteers and sanitation workers actively participated in the campaign. During this, dirt was removed by cleaning small garbage dumps present in different parts of the city.



Hardeep Singh Mundian said that continuous efforts are being made by the Mann government to create a clean and beautiful Punjab. He appealed to the people to contribute in keeping their surrounding areas clean. He said that under 'Mission Clean Punjab', a special campaign is being run to clean small garbage dumps of Ludhiana city. He said that creating a clean city is not only the responsibility of the Municipal Corporation, but it is also the equal responsibility of every citizen.





He appealed to the city residents not to throw garbage on roads, streets and public places and to cooperate with the Municipal Corporation to improve the cleanliness system. He said that people should give their household waste only to the door-to-door garbage collection vehicles of the Municipal Corporation.



Cabinet Minister Mundian especially appealed to the street vendors to keep their surrounding areas clean and throw garbage at the designated place only. He said that the goal of making Ludhiana a clean, beautiful and neat city can be achieved only with the cooperation of the people.
