Technology Desk: Vivo is going to launch its new smartphone Vivo V80 in India. The company has officially confirmed the launch date of the phone. This smartphone will be launched in India on October 6 at 12 noon.

The company will present Vivo V80 with cinematic camera experience. Zeiss branded camera setup will be available in the phone. Apart from this, it will also have a big battery and OLED display with high refresh rate.

Vivo V80 will be launched on October 6

Vivo India has given information about the launch date on its official X handle. According to the company, Vivo V80 will be launched on October 6 at 12 noon. The color options of the phone have also been revealed. Vivo V80 will be offered in Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue and Stellar Black colors.

After the launch, the phone will be available at Vivo's online and offline stores. It can also be purchased from online platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.

OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate

Vivo V80 is expected to have a 6.59 inch 1.5K OLED display. Its display will support 144Hz refresh rate. The peak brightness of the phone's screen can be up to 5000 nits. Very thin bezels will be given around it.

According to reports, the bezels of the display may be only 1.25mm thick. This will make the phone screen look more premium.

Zeiss camera will give cinematic photography experience

The biggest attraction of Vivo V80 may be its camera setup. The company will provide Zeiss branded camera unit in the phone. The phone is expected to have a 50MP main camera. A 50MP night telephoto camera can also be provided with it.

A 50MP front camera can be found in the phone for selfie and video calling. The camera setup can support 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.

7200mAh large battery

The company can provide a big 7200mAh battery in Vivo V80. The phone is also expected to support 90W wired fast charging. If these features are confirmed, the phone will be ready for long-term use. Fast charging will also help in charging larger batteries quickly.

Android 17 and AI features will be supported

Vivo V80 will be launched with new software. OriginOS 7 based on Android 17 can be found in it. AI features based on Google Gemini will also be provided in the phone. With these features, users can get smart editing and other AI tools.
