New Delhi: The recent controversy that arose between yoga guru Swami Ramdev and former MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has now ended. Both of them met each other in a press conference held in New Delhi on Wednesday and said that after the conversation all the misunderstandings have been cleared.

Swami Ramdev told that Brijbhushan Sharan Singh had some misunderstandings, but after a long discussion he understood the truth. Ramdev said, “Today he also closed this matter. We thank him wholeheartedly. Any dispute should end there itself.”

He further said that Brijbhushan Sharan Singh has made it clear that he respects the saints and people who work for the country. Ramdev said, “We are saints, we do not want to increase anything. Our aim is only to serve.”

In the press conference, Ramdev refuted the rumors being spread about his health and Patanjali's cow ghee. He said that for the last few months, false rumors are being spread about his health, even though he is completely healthy.

Ramdev termed the allegations made on Patanjali's cow ghee as baseless and said, “Patanjali's cow ghee is genuine, our medicines are also genuine.” He told the media to take two lids of ghee, one for eating and the other for testing in the lab. If there is any deficiency in the product, it will become clear through scientific investigation.

He also said that Patanjali and Swadeshi campaign was started to challenge foreign companies. Ramdev claimed that India is the world's largest milk producing country and Patanjali is making continuous efforts to conserve the indigenous breed of cows.

Discussing Ayurveda, Ramdev said that in the last 30 years, Ayurveda has been taken forward with scientific evidence on the basis of thousands of research papers. He said that Ayurveda has helped millions of people suffering from serious diseases.

A few days ago, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had commented on the products of Swami Ramdev and Patanjali in a program, after which the discussion of the controversy intensified. Now both the parties have announced the end of the dispute after talks.
