The third season of Uttarakhand Premier League (UPL) started on Tuesday (22 September). In the opening match of the season, Haridwar Almas and Nainital Titans clashed, in which the Haridwar team won by 2 wickets and started the defense of its title victoriously. Batting first, Nainital Tigers scored 166 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs, which Haridwar Almas achieved in 19.5 overs. In the final of last season, Haridwar Almas won the title by defeating Nainital Tigers.

Today there is going to be a clash between Pithoragarh Hurricanes and Tehri Titans. Tejaswi Jaiswal, elder brother of Team India's star opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, will also be seen in this match. He is the captain of Tehri Titans. Tejashwi, who started his cricket career from Tripura, will now be seen playing for Uttarakhand in domestic cricket. That is why he was made the icon player in UPL 2026 and was handed over the reins of Tehri Titans.
