Hisar : Police have arrested Dr Bijender Tak , owner of Vidhata Nursing Home in Uklana , in an alleged fake claim and forged-document case under the Ayushman Bharat scheme . Tak had been evading arrest for six months after his anticipatory bail pleas were rejected by the district court, Punjab and Haryana High Court and Supreme Court .




The case followed a March 22 inspection , which allegedly found patients listed on the Ayushman portal were not admitted. Police also found alleged alterations in records and a Rs 48,000 claim for a newborn who, the family said, had not been readmitted. The probe also found alleged forged signatures and documents.




The case was registered on a CM Flying Squad complaint. The high court had said custodial interrogation was required.
