Bhopal : A 22-year-old man was stabbed multiple times allegedly by a group of men over an old dispute near Vishal Mega Mart in Kolar early Friday.




Victim Priyanshu Tandon sustained injuries to his head, both hands and left leg and is undergoing treatment at JK Hospital .




According to his mother Kalpana Tandon ’s complaint, Priyanshu was with his friend Prashant Prajapati at a Durga pandal under construction near their house in Damkheda Sector B around 3.30 am. His acquaintance Nitin Kataria , who has a previous criminal record, allegedly called him aside and took him behind Vishal Mega Mart where he and his associates attacked him with a knife.




His friends Prashant and Arjun Rajput rushed him to JK Hospital and informed his mother, who lodged a complaint with Kolar police.




Investigating officer SI Shivendra Pathak said Priyanshu is critical and his statement is yet to be recorded. Kolar police have registered an attempt-to-murder case against Nitin and his associates.
