Singer-comedian Sugandha Mishra is finally getting back to work, months after welcoming her first child with husband Sanket Bhosale. Known for her character Vidyavati in The Kapil Sharma Show, Sugandha has made a dramatic entry into Wagle Ki Duniya as Suman Gadhiya. Amid her acting comeback, the actress recently opened up on balancing her life, both on and off the camera, with her daughter now in the picture. Mentioning that motherhood has transformed her in the “best way,” Sugandha went on to share how her life has changed over the past months.
“It has made me grow into a more elevated, composed, and, honestly, a more creative person. With my little one, I am constantly coming up with new ways to entertain her because we keep her screen time limited. I am doing everything from funny voices to beat boxing and even making up silly rhymes,” she told the Times of India. Sugandha also went on to reveal how her daughter, at just 15 months, has started making animal sounds of lion, dog, and cat, further touting the little one as her “biggest cheerleader.”
Further in the conversation, the comedian opened up on how she has been balancing her off-screen responsibilities as a newbie mother with her on-screen job. Stating that she is loving the experience, Sugandha said, “Being on the set and diving into a crazy character like Suman and then coming back home to my little munchkin, it is a perfect balance. No matter how exhausting the day has been, the moment I see her running towards me with a big smile, everything just goes away,” she continued.
Coming back to Sugandha Mishra’s newest role as Suman Gadhiya in Wagle ki Duniya, she will be seen portraying a dramatic woman who is secretly plotting something. Using her charm, she will be seen manipulating Yamini to let her stay at the society, only to have hidden motives.
Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale started their journey on The Kapil Sharma Show, where they fell in love and later got married in April 2021. In October 2023, the actress announced that they were set to become parents, along with pictures from their maternity photoshoot. They eventually welcomed their first child, daughter Ivana, in December of the same year. Ever since, the couple has been sharing glimpses of their new life as parents with adorable pictures and videos that capture heartwarming moments of the family.
