There's a heatwave forecast for next week, which means we can look forward to more time alfresco. There's still time to kit out your with a new barbecue - and we've found an £80 one that's highly-rated.
The costs £79.99 at and it's designed to grill, roast and smoke.
has a ceramic casing, which is said to make it efficient at retaining heat inside and locking in moisture for succulent meat, as well as being fuel-efficient. For precision grillers, there's a built-in temperature gauge on the lid, and an adjustable air vent so you can get the level of heat just right.
Both the shape and material are strikingly similar to the , a premium barbecue, which would set you back £850. The sizes are similar too, but not that the actual space on the grill rack of the Debenhams barbecue is 26.5cm, while Big Green Egg's is 33cm. With that in mind, the Kamado is best suited to couples or small families.
As is compact, it can be moved around easily, and you could take it camping or to a friend's house as it's not too heavy or bulky.
The barbecue has gained a 4.5 star rating so far at Debenhams, with one shopper praising the cooking results: ''Great little barbecue, can't wait to use it more when the sun is out.''
Another added: ''With only cooking for two we only needed a small barbecue and I'm so glad I chose this one! It looks great and cooks great. Takes a little bit of getting used to but after doing a couple of steaks I tried a whole chicken. I just put it in and forgot about it and it cooked lovely. There's different settings for different types of cooking that are controlled by the vents.''
A third shopper commented on the size, which is worth keeping in mind if you're feeding more than two people: ''Great gadget for the money. Very well made and slow cooks really well with just a little bit of charcoal. The 13-inch version is a bit small but you can just about cook a whole chicken in it.''
You can also buy it from for the same price.
