Ashish already expressed his opinions on the conflict between short-format and long-format content.
The YouTuber emphasized that, like him, he began making short-form material before branching out into long-format.
He informed IANS “To begin with, there is no conflict between makers of long-format and short-format media. That being said, I believe that long-format content’s power will endure. Like you, I began as a short-format maker before reels were even a thing. In the end, we investigated and expanded into the realm of long-format material.
“Yeah, I agree that the attention span is decreasing, but then the audiences adjust themselves according to the content,” he said when discussing the audience’s declining attention span. They allocate their attention span in accordance with the duration of the material since they are aware that it is a reel, but they approach a movie in a theater with the attitude that they are devoting two hours of their life to it.”
