As the curtain drops on another season in European football, teams have battled it out for league glory and to grab the precious European football spots for next season, with the Champions League being the most coveted one.

In this article, Sportstar tells you all the teams from Europe’s top-five leagues that will play in the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League (UCL).

Premier League

Premier League will have five teams playing in the Champions League next season. The following teams are:

  • Liverpool (C)

  • Arsenal

  • Manchester City

  • Chelsea

  • Newcastle United

The League

La Liga will also have five teams playing in the Champions League next season. The following teams are:

  • Barcelona (c)

  • Real Madrid

  • Atletico Madrid

  • Athletic Club

  • Villarreal

Bundesliga

Bundesliga will have four teams playing in the UCL next season. The following teams are:

  • Bavaria Munich (C)

  • Bayer Leverkusen

  • Eintracht Frankfurt

  • Borussia Dortmund

Serie A

Serie A will also have four teams playing in the UCL next season. The following teams are:

  • Naples (C)

  • Inter

  • Atalanta

  • Juventus

Ligue 1

Ligue 1 will have three teams playing the Champions League next season. The following teams are:
