Today's must-have modern luxuries now include noise-cancelling headphones, quilted toilet paper, and pre-chopped vegetables. Among other cherished comforts are high-end scented candles, enjoying a glass of wine mid-week, and the convenience of boiling water taps. Luxuries like robot vacuum cleaners, smart thermostats, and indulging in an after-dinner treat also feature on the list.

A survey by Muller Bliss unveiled that nearly half of adults feel their demanding schedules scarcely allow for daily decadence, with the average adult revelling in luxury just five times per month. Yet, for 38%, savouring these 'little luxuries' has become more important than it used to be.

Winner of the Great British Menu, Chef Kate Austen, working with the yoghurt company, expressed: "For me, little luxuries are basically edible happiness, from a comfort dish to a sneaky ready-made dessert, it's my instant mood elevator."

She has crafted the new "Bliss Bites" inspired by Muller Bliss's two new flavours: Whipped Greek Style Strawberries and Cream accompanied by miniature biscuits, and Whipped Greek Style Yogurt Lemon Meringue Pie.

The poll also uncovered that what once was deemed luxury is now taken for granted, such as overseas holidays, flying, and having your own computer, along with subscription TV services, clothes shopping, and fast food treats.

An impressive 82% of people believe that small luxuries positively affect their mood, suggesting that it's beneficial to make an effort to enjoy them.

According to a study conducted by OnePoll.com, food tops the list as the most popular indulgence (39%), with desserts considered the ultimate luxury meal (58%).

A 'decadent taste' is the leading factor in making food feel more luxurious, followed by the sensation experienced while eating and the stimulation of multiple senses.

Marina Lazu, Muller Bliss brand manager, said: "Luxury is enhanced convenience, it is important we indulge in luxuries to give us those dopamine hits.

"We believe luxury isn't about extravagance, it's about those small moments that bring joy. Our new Whipped Greek Style flavours offer a way to elevate the everyday with a little bit of luxury in every spoonful."
