A student of BDS course has allegedly committed suicide at Girls Hostel at Sharda University, Greater Noida. In the suicide note of the student, two teachers have been accused of harassing and humiliating her. In this case, the police have registered an FIR and arrested both the teachers. In the Girls Hostel of Sharda University, a BDS student committed suicide by hanging herself on Friday night. After this incident, the family members of the deceased student and other students created a ruckus in the university, in which they accused the staff of the university of harassment with the student.

According to the police, 21 -year -old Jyoti, who was a resident of Gurugram and studying BDS from Sharda University, committed suicide by hanging himself in her hostel room on Friday night. On receiving information about this incident, his family reached the spot and informed the police.

The university staff has been convicted in the suicide note received from the student’s room. He has accused mental torture in the note, due to which it was forced to take serious steps. After this incident, there was a huge uproar in the university on Friday night. The student mentioned in her suicide note that Mahendra sir and sharg mam are responsible for her death. They allege that both of them mentally tortured and humiliated him.

ADCP Sudhir Kumar of Greater Noida informed that on the complaint of the family members of the student, the police station Park Police has registered a case against the staff of the university under the relevant sections, in which two named accused have been arrested. The family members of the student and the students of Sharda University saw resentment towards the administration, which was pacified by the police officials through talks. Currently the situation is under control and further legal action is being taken.
