Three flights have been canceled at Chandigarh Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport. It has been said here that three aircraft have been diverted and the possibility of delay in the rest has also been expressed. In this, two planes were to come from Delhi and one was to come from Bengaluru, which have been cancelled.
Officials have informed that these three aircraft have been postponed due to poor visibility. An advisory was issued by Indigo airline stating that due to dense fog there was reduced visibility due to which the flights were postponed. Flight service has been disrupted.
It has been informed that Pune-Chandigarh flight and Bengaluru-Chandigarh flight have been diverted to Jaipur. Whereas Abu Dhabi-Chandigarh international flight has been diverted to Delhi. All flights have been diverted towards Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai, Patna, Bengaluru and Mumbai.
