The comedy premiered in the USA this January and received praise from critics and audiences alike.
It currently boasts a 95 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with the critics' consensus raving that "One of Them Days makes the buddy-comedy genre feel like magic once again."
But who is the actress that brought Bethany to life?
Born Maude Annabelle Apatow, in December 1997, the 27-year-old actress has film credits dating back to 2007.
At just 10 years old, she bagged her first role in the romantic comedy Knocked up, which starred accomplished actors Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl.
In 2009 she landed her second part in Funny People, then featured in This is 40, in 2012.
In her early work, Apatow worked closely with her famous parents, who were either at the helm of the productions or starred alongside her.
Who are Maude Apatow's parents?Maude Apatow is the eldest daughter of actress Leslie Mann and famed filmmaker Judd Apatow. Her first three films were written and directed by her father, with her mother also starring.
As the American actress gained fame in HBO's hit drama Euphoria, she was quickly branded as a 'nepo baby' by viewers.
The term is often used to disparage the children of famous people for 'cheating' their way into otherwise competitive industries, such as filmmaking.
In 2022, the film star shared her thoughts on the topic in a candid interview with Net-A-Porter. She confessed that the phrase initially had an emotional impact on her.
"At first I was sad," she revealed, before adding: "I try not to let it get to me because I obviously understand that I’m in such a lucky position.
"A lot of people [in a similar position] have proven themselves over the years, so I’ve got to keep going and make good work. It’s so early in my career, I don’t have much to show yet, but hopefully one day I’ll be really proud of the stuff I’ve done by myself."
Euphoria roleAlthough she "doesn't have much to show yet", the budding performer has a compelling part in Euphoria, which is widely regarded as her breakout role.
In the R-rated drama, Apatow portrays fan favourite Lexi Howard, the level-headed best friend of Zendaya's chaotic main character Rue.
Her character didn't stand out in the first season, however she became central to the storyline in season two.
In the latest series, Lexi notably befriends drug dealer Fezco, who was portrayed by actor Angus Cloud before his tragic passing in 2023. Viewers warmed to the unlikely duo and anticipated that they would have a romantic storyline in future seasons.
Unfortunately, major delays stalled the series from filming its forthcoming season before the actor passed away.
Apatow is set to return in Euphoria, which has recently began filming its third season, over three years since its last instalment aired.
One of Them Days is in cinemas now.
