New Delhi:- Predibitism is a condition where your blood sugar level is higher than normal, but not so much that it can be called diabetes, it is a warning before being type 2 diabetes. If you understand clearly, the predeabes can be defined as Type 2 Diabetes High Risk. People suffering from prediabetes also have a high risk of stroke, heart attack, peripheral neuropathy (nerves) and retinopathy.
If a person is experiencing tingling, burning, numbness and pain in his feet, then you can be predeebitic. This is an indication that insulin levels in your body are rising, Dr. Sudhir Kumar, a neurologist from Hyderabad, said that predeeds can be defined as high risk of presence of blood sugar levels and development of Type 2 diabetes.
Know what are the symptoms of predeabitizes…
Tingling in legs and legs ..
The legs and legs have a common symptom in people suffering from tingling or numbness diabetes, called diabetic neuropathy. If the level of sugar in the body increases, then it first damages the veins of the feet. This is why many people feel prick and numbness. Sometimes it can also be a sign of neurological problems.
Tiredness
If you feel tired or weak after walking for a while, it can be a sign of fluctuations in blood sugar. This shows that your body is not managing glucose effectively. This is an important warning signal for diabetes.
Swelling of feet
Diabetes affects the functioning of the kidney, resulting in fluid retention in the legs and ankles, which causes inflammation. If your shoes feel suddenly tight or your feet are swollen after a walk, then there may be extra fluid retention in your body. Diabetes can be prevented or controlled by taking preventive measures such as regular check -up, balanced diet, active stay and stress management.
The risk of type 2 diabetes can be reduced
Dr. Sudhir further said that people suffering from predeeds also have a high risk of stroke, heart attack, peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage) and retinopathy (which can cause vision loss). However, by using a simple blood test called HBA1C, any person can easily detect his sugar level.
Dr. Sudhir said that more than 5.7 HBA1C is called Predibites. More than 10 percent of patients with predeabitarianism can have problems of tingling, burning, numbness and pain in the feet, called predeebitic neuropathy. Along with this, he said that pre-diabetes can be controlled by changing lifestyle and adopting healthy habits, which can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes.
