Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has planned to settle a new township on 6000 acres in Bakshi's pond (BKT) area on Sitapur Road. A survey of land has been started for this. LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar has constituted a committee of five senior officers to speed up the process of land acquisition.
This committee headed by Secretary Vivek Srivastava has also started work. The LDA has identified the land of 14 villages of BKT area for this scheme. These include Bhauli, Burumau, Dhatiingra, Gopramau, Laxmipur, Purab Village, Purva, Sarepur, Farrukhabad, Kodari Bhauli, Kamalabad, Kamalapur, Saidapur and Palhari. That is, the land of these villages has been selected for the scheme.
On March 3, the LDA vice -president issued an order to acquire the land of these villages. Along with this, a committee of five officers has been formed and instructed to start the process as soon as possible. After nearly 40 years, LDA is going to develop the township once again on Sitapur Road. Earlier, Jankipuram and Jankipuram expansion schemes were developed, which have passed four decades.
With this new scheme, the people of Lucknow will be able to get residential and commercial plots equipped with modern facilities, which will enable the city to expand rapidly and people will also benefit. Work has also been started for this LDA plan. Earlier, Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) had brought a plan to construct 2000 flats in Sarsawa village in Gomti Nagar Extension area. Under this scheme, he was given a good opportunity to build a shelter in the area. In the new scheme, LDA did not build flats itself but gave land to private builders and companies.
