IIT Delhi MTech Admissions: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has started the registration process for MTech Admission 2025. Candidates who have passed the GATE exam and students wishing to be admitted to IIT Delhi MTech can apply. The last date to apply is 7 April, till 4 pm. As per the IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2025 schedule, shortlisted candidates will be called for interview from 14 May to 16 June.

Classes will start in July.

As per the IIT Delhi MTech Admission 2025 schedule, the orientation date has been fixed on July 19, followed by the registration process from July 19 to July 20. IIT Delhi MTech 2025 classes will start on July 24. Candidates selected for full-time IIT Delhi MTech programs will be able to accept their offers through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP).

Candidates applying for the MTech program must meet the minimum qualifications and GATE cutoff for the respective programs. Final-year students who expect to complete their degree by the third week of July 2025 are also eligible to apply for IIT Delhi MTech courses 2025.

Eligibility for admission

General category applicants must have a BTech or BE degree with a minimum of 60 percent marks or a CGPA of 6. For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates, the minimum requirement should be 55 percent or 5.5 CGPA.

Exemption from GATE 2025

Admission to IIT Delhi MTech is primarily based on GATE 2025 scores. However, IIT BTech graduates with a CGPA of 8 or above are exempted from GATE and will be considered for interview directly through video conferencing.
