Kedar Jadhav spoke about CSK's winning combination before their match against MI in the . The former CSK player feels that the result of the match could be dependent on CSK's spin trio and the nature of the surface in Chennai, where the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk is set to host the high-voltage clash. The 2018 IPL winner claimed the spinners could play a key role in case CSK opt to bowl in the second innings.


Kedar spoke to the media before the El Clásico clash between two of the most successful IPL sides. Jadhav was hyped for the match and felt the result would depend on the nature of the pitch. The Maharashtra cricketer further added the need to judge the pitch and felt the spinners could be in the game in case of a dry surface.


"It is important to see how the pitch will be prepared for the three spinners. It is also important to see the pitch. If the pitch is dry, the spinners will come into the game," he was quoted as saying by India Today.

The ex-CSK player opined that the spinners might not have an upper hand in the first half of the match. The former cricketer felt the second innings could bring spinners into the game due to the dry nature of the surface. He felt overheating could help the Super Kings' spin trio to exploit the conditions.


"I don't think they will have the upper hand in the first half. In the second half, when the pitch is dry due to overheating, I think the three spinners will be a match-winning combination for CSK," Jadhav added as he predicted the winning combination of CSK.


Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians will take on each other in the third match of the IPL 2025. The game will take place at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai at 7:30 PM (IST). Despite the venue being a fortress for CSK, MI is the only team to have a better record against them at the venue. Both the sides failed to make it to the playoffs in 2024, and will hope for a different result this season.
