CUET UG 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to close the window available for making corrections in the application form for the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG 2025) today, March 28. Candidates who have registered for this exam and want to make any changes to their application form should do so immediately by visiting the official website cuet.nta.nic.in. Today is the last date to edit the application form.

NTA activated the application form correction window on March 26. Candidates who want to make any changes in the application form can make changes in the CUET UG application form before the given deadline.

Cannot edit these details

As per the guidelines of NTA, candidates are not allowed to change their mobile number, email ID, and address through the correction window.

CUET UG exam will start on May 8. Starting from this date, the exam will be conducted in computer-based test mode till June 1. There are a total of 388 exam centers in India, including 24 centers outside the country.

The admit card for this exam will be available in online mode only. Candidates will have to use their login credentials to download the admit card. The admit card will contain details like exam center, dates, timings, exam day introduction, etc.

Changes in CUET UG this year

As per the UGC guidelines, candidates are allowed to appear for the exam in any subject, irrespective of the subject they have opted for in class 12th.

The exam will be conducted in CBT mode for 60 minutes. Till last year, the exam timing was different for each subject.

The number of subjects has also been reduced from 63 to 37.

As per the CUET UG marking scheme, candidates will be awarded five marks for each correct answer and there will be negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.

CUET UG exam is conducted for admission to UG courses in central, state and other participating universities.
