presenter earnestly issued a trigger warning to viewers of the show as they prepared to air the TV for Pets segment but viewers were left threatening to switch off. "Trigger warning now please," Tim Lovejoy announced as co-host stood earnestly beside him. "Any mice, hamsters, gerbils..." he said as Simon chimed in, "budgies." "Anything, like, yeah, any of them watching might find this week's episode, a little distressing," he said as they cut to a clip of a Bengal cat eating off a glass table wth the camera underneath.

Despite the heartwarming content viewers of the show were not impressed and took to X to complain about the warning. "Sick of these #triggerwarnings on shows like #SundayBrunch... time to turn over!" one fumed. Meanwhile another simply wrote: "Trigger warning. #sundaybrunch," which they accompanied with a GIF of a finger pulling the trigger on a gun.

Tim and Simon were joined by actress Sally Phillips, actor Ben Miller, Countryfile presenter Matt Baker, MAdness frontman Suggs, Mobland star Emily Barber, singer Estelle and band The Pale White.

Following the clip Tim decided to test the guests knowledge of Bengal Cats with a pop quiz with Ben Miller aquitting himself well.

Elsewhere in the show shared , revealing they are currently navigating a "stressful" period.

The Countryfile presenter, a devoted father to Luke and Molly with his wife and childhood sweetheart Nicola Mooney, opened up about the challenges they're facing.

He confessed: "We're going through GCSEs and A-levels at the moment in our house, a double whammy."

Matt's daughter is currently tackling her GCSEs, and he's taking on a supportive role. "It's quite good to remember that time in your life when you were sitting them. She's using kind of a flash cards system so I'm the quiz master." he reflected.

"I'm trying to remain as chill as possible because there's still a bit of time to go. It's on the horizon, and it's getting closer."

He added: "It's quite fun, I'm trying to keep it fun.
