Incognito mode is provided in web browsers to make browsing private. It gives you a little more privacy. In incognito mode, the web browser does not store your search history, cookies and other data.

Your search history is not saved in the browser, so personal information remains safe. It is especially used when you are using someone else's computer or smartphone. Even while using the browser in a public computer or cyber cafe, you should search in incognito mode only.

You can browse in incognito mode by selecting New Incognito Window or New Private Window in Chrome, FireFox or Edge browser. However, it is important to note that you cannot hide activities from your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
